Problem
Does doodling have an effect on your memory?

Introduction
When you are in a class that is not really holding your attention do you doodle? I know that I always have doodling things on my paper. Some teachers don’t let you doodle because they think that you’re not listening, but I read in a magazine that doodling might actually help you remember the listen. So I’m going to find out if I should really be allowed to doodle or not. J

  3. I will say 40 random words.
  4. They will keep doodling for 2 minutes
  5. Then they will write as many words down that they will remember.
  6. I will repeat this process again but without the doodling. I will say different words, and they will still have to wait 2mins.
Results
Doodling does help!

Conclusion
As i conclude Doodling does have an effect on your memory. It acctually helps it! More pepole remembered more words when they doodled. I believe it's because when you sit there not doing anything it gives your mind a more chance of daydreaming and going off on to other thoughts.

Possible Causes of error
Sometimes when I was saying the words I wasnt saying them loud enough so some people couldnt hear them.
